During the holidays last year I made bath and body gift baskets for friends as presents. About a month later, one of my girlfriends asked if I could make a body lotion with shea butter and jojoba oil. She caught me off guard (I didn't know if it was possible). Then I thought about it and since all the bath and body products I made were my recipes, I agreed. It took about a week of trial and error. I gave my friend the lotion. She called me the next day saying how much she loved her lotion and her coworkers did too.
Later that night I received a call from a woman asking for "The Lotion Guru." I told her she had the wrong number. She replied aren't you so and so's friend (my didn't want her name mentioned in the blog) who created the Shea butter lotion. I told her yes. She said, "I want that too but mine with sesame oil. We talked for a few minutes and set up a time to meet. I asked her why did she call asking for The Lotion Guru? She responded,"Not every ones skin is the same. Some are sensitive, others are allergic to fragrances and then there are those with nut allergies. You have to be a Lotion Guru to create bath and body products to someones personal preference."
I think she explained it all don't you.
